God’s Eternal Word is Human Freedom

Filed under: GA — adam @ 8:15 am

I think all originary thinkers should be interested in this brilliant post by truepeers over at the Covenant Zone blog (I put in the permalink John provided in the comments to this entry for those who may have been confused by my linking to the blog itself–sorry for that):

  1. Thanks again, Adam. Here’s the permalink since it’s already being knocked down the page.

  2. Very nice linked post. Thanks. The other offerings at Covenant Zone were also worth reading (often equally worth reading).

  4. I seem to remember–long, long ago–an article in Commentary (“Heroes and Valets”?) that was a broader treatment of the trend in negative biography. It was back in one of the print issues in the 90s, I think.

  5. I found it! But it’s behind a registration wall.

  7. I realize that I was responding to the Charles Schultz article and not the one Adam had in mind. Sorry about that.

That said, I’m totally with truepeers on the distinction between religion and ideology, something that has put me increasingly at dissonant odds with the Robert Spencer school.
